A 22MM metal switch with LED and a power logo combines compact functionality with intuitive visual communication
The 22MM metal push button switch stands out as a compact yet robust choice for countless electrical setups, blending the sturdiness of a metal button switch with the precision of a standard push button switch. Its 22mm diameter makes it ideal for panels where space is limited but durability is non-negotiable, such as in machinery control stations or commercial appliances.
Material: The shell is usually made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy, which has good corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and wear resistance, and can adapt to harsh working environments.
Appearance Design: Common shapes include flat head, convex head or other shapes, which can be selected according to different application scenarios and aesthetic needs. Some switches are also equipped with indicator lights, which can intuitively show the working state of the switch.
Installation Method: Generally, a hole with a diameter of 22mm is drilled on the panel, the switch is embedded in it, and then fixed on the panel with nuts or other fixing devices to ensure firm installation.
Contact Structure: The interior usually contains one or more sets of contacts. When the button is pressed, the contacts will close or open, so as to realize the functions of circuit conduction, cut-off or switching.
Action Type: It can be divided into momentary action type and maintained action type. For the momentary action type switch, when the button is pressed, the contacts are briefly closed or opened, and return to the initial state immediately after the button is released; the maintained action type switch will keep the contacts in the closed or open state after the button is pressed until the button is pressed again to switch.
Rated Current and Voltage: They indicate the maximum current and voltage that the switch can safely withstand. Common rated currents are 3A, 5A, 10A, etc., and common rated voltages are 24V, 28V, 250V, etc.
Contact Resistance: It refers to the resistance value of the switch contacts in the closed state. Generally, it is required that the contact resistance is as small as possible to reduce power loss and heat generation, which is usually below 50mΩ.
Protection Level: For example, IP67 indicates that the switch has dustproof and waterproof functions. The first digit "6" means completely preventing dust from entering, and the second digit "7" means that it can withstand the pressure of being immersed in water for a certain period of time.
Mechanical Life and Electrical Life: Mechanical life refers to the number of presses that the switch can withstand under normal operation; electrical life refers to the number of times that the switch contacts can work reliably under rated current and voltage conditions. Generally, the mechanical life is longer than the electrical life, such as 500,000 times for mechanical life and 50,000 times for electrical life.
